Best Childcare Centre in North-East, Singapore
With roughly 645,000 residents spread across some of Singapore's newest housing estates, North-East Singapore has a deep bench of childcare options — from established Partner Operators in older Hougang estates to brand-new, purpose-built centres in Punggol Digital District. Here are verified, currently-operating centres worth shortlisting across Hougang, Sengkang and Punggol.
Quick answer
For an established, ECDA-recognised option in central Hougang, Star Learners @ Hougang Central holds SPARK certification for curriculum and safety standards. Families in the far north of Punggol have a brand-new, large-format option in MindChamps PreSchool @ Punggol Digital District, opened alongside the new MRT station and mall.
How we picked
We cross-checked each centre's current address against the operator's own site and, where available, Singapore's Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) centre registry, prioritising centres that are ECDA Partner or Anchor Operators. We did not visit any centre or assess it against ECDA's official quality ratings, which parents should check directly on the ECDA website before enrolling.
