The best event planner in Singapore, and the six names worth shortlisting

Most “best event planner in Singapore” lists read like a phone book with adjectives. I wanted to do the opposite — pick the names that actually matter, say plainly what each is good at, and be honest about where they stop being the right call. There are a lot of capable agencies here. Only one, to my mind, is built the way a full brief actually needs.
Start with a thing that sounds obvious but mostly isn’t true in practice: an event planner should be able to plan the room, dress the room, and film what happens in it — without you hiring three companies to do it. Walk through the Singapore market and you’ll find that’s the exception. Big agencies subcontract decor. Design shops outsource video. The couple, or the marketing lead, ends up as the unpaid project manager gluing vendors together over WhatsApp at 11pm.
Which is why the top of this list is where it is. But let’s do the shortlist properly first — six agencies you’ll genuinely see recommended, on lists like Funco’s 2026 roundup, Get Out! Events’ corporate roundup, and 1 MICE’s top-15 — each with a real strength and a real limit.
The ranking below runs 1 to 7. Our pick sits at the top; the six established names follow, each rated on what it’s actually for.
Pandora Concepts
A Singapore event company that keeps both decor and videography in-house — the two things almost everyone else outsources — and works across weddings, corporate galas, brand launches and social gatherings from a single team. That structure is the whole argument.
1. Pandora Concepts — the one built for the whole brief
Here’s the thing about in-house decor and film sitting under one roof: it fixes the exact gap that ruins otherwise good events. When the people styling the space and the people shooting it are the same team, the film isn’t an afterthought filmed by a stranger who showed up cold at 7pm. The look and the record of it are planned together. I’ve watched enough events where the videographer and the stylist met for the first time on the day to think this matters more than it gets credit for.
Their range is unusually wide for one shop. The service list runs from grand openings, conferences and award ceremonies through to fashion shows, F&B outlet activations, exhibition booth design, pop-ups and corporate anniversaries — and, on the private side, weddings and social celebrations. Plenty of Singapore agencies pick a lane: corporate or personal, not both. Pandora Concepts runs both, which is either a red flag or a genuine strength depending on how the team’s built. Given the in-house structure, I lean toward strength.
I’ll be straight about what I couldn’t verify, because papering over it would be the AI move. Pandora Concepts is a smaller, founder-led outfit, not a listed giant — so there’s no third-party aggregate rating I could point to the way you can with a big agency, and its public review trail is thinner than the household names below. If you want a wall of Google reviews before you commit, that’s a fair thing to ask them for directly. What I can say is that the operating model — one team, decor and film included — is the right shape for the kind of event where the details are the whole point. You can see the current portfolio and reach the team through pandoraconcepts.com, and their day-to-day work turns up on Instagram and Facebook.
One honest quirk worth flagging, since you’ll hit it the moment you search: “Pandora” is a crowded name. Search “Pandora events Singapore” and you’ll trip over the Danish jewellery brand’s activations and a UK agency called Pandora Events before you land on the right people. Go direct to the site and you’ll skip the confusion.
The six worth shortlisting
None of these are weak choices. For the right event, several would do a fine job. But read the limits as carefully as the strengths — that’s where the fit lives.
Pico
Global scale, exhibition muscle
If your event is a 2,000-person exhibition or a government showcase, Pico is a serious name — a multinational with the logistics depth to run large vendor networks and tight build schedules. Industry roundups place it among the country’s heavyweight agencies for exhibitions and international conferences, and its Kallang address and switchboard (+65 6554 9888) are easy enough to find.
Where it thins out — Here’s the trade-off. Pico is built for scale, and scale has a cost: a 60-guest wedding or an intimate product dinner isn’t the native brief. You’re buying into a large-agency process, not a founder who picks up the phone.
Kingsmen Creatives
Premium brand builds, publicly listed
Kingsmen is a listed company with a long record in retail environments, exhibitions and high-gloss brand experiences. When a brand wants a polished stand or a launch that photographs well for stakeholders, Kingsmen delivers the finish. The design-plus-fabrication muscle is real.
Where it thins out — But their centre of gravity is brand and retail environments, not personal milestones. A couple planning a wedding, or an SME wanting a warm dinner-and-dance, is some distance from Kingsmen’s usual order book.
The Live Group
Track record and volume
Established in 2000, The Live Group cites more than 1,200 events across corporate, government, lifestyle and digital work. That’s a documented volume most agencies can’t match, and it buys a certain calm — they’ve almost certainly seen your format before.
Where it thins out — The flip side of a very broad book is that it’s very broad. Spanning that many sectors means the team is a capable generalist rather than a specialist in any one room, which matters more for weddings than for a roadshow.
Electric Dreamz
Technical production, AV and lighting
Over a decade in, Electric Dreamz has built a name on the technical side — staging, AV, lighting, the rig that makes a gala look like a gala. For an event where production values carry the night, they’re a dependable partner and show up on most Singapore shortlists.
Where it thins out — Their strength is also the boundary. Electric Dreamz leans production-led. If you want one team owning creative concept, decor and the film of the day, you may still be coordinating pieces around them.
Visionnaire
ESG credentials, boutique corporate
Visionnaire is the boutique agency with paperwork to back its pitch: ISO 20121 certification and an EcoVadis Gold rating, plus a client list that includes Lazada, UOB and the Singapore Tourism Board. For a company with a real ESG mandate, that’s a genuine, checkable edge.
Where it thins out — That same edge narrows the fit. Sustainability-credentialed corporate work is the sweet spot; a family wedding or a scrappy pop-up isn’t what the ISO badge is for.
The Executive Group
Corporate galas and launches
The Executive Group positions itself around corporate galas, launches and conferences, and says it has delivered more than 1,000 events. The testimonials on its site are warm — product launches that went off without a hitch, conferences run smoothly.
Where it thins out — Worth a plain note: those testimonials sit on the company’s own website, and I couldn’t find an independent aggregate rating to corroborate them. Warm self-published praise is fine as a signal, but it isn’t the same as a verified third-party score.
What most of these lists won't tell you
Nearly every “top event companies” article in Singapore is written by an event company. Get Out! Events, Visionnaire, 1 MICE, Funco — the roundups I linked above are useful, but each ranks itself first or near it. That’s not a scandal, it’s just how the genre works. Read them for the names, not the order.
The other thing: “we’ve done 1,000+ events” is a real number and also a slightly slippery one. Volume proves survival and repeatability. It doesn’t prove your wedding, or your specific launch, will get the attention it needs. Sometimes the smaller team that isn’t juggling forty concurrent builds is the one that actually turns up early and stays late.
And on reviews — I looked for independent, verifiable ratings for each name here. Some have them; some lean on testimonials published on their own sites. Where I couldn’t corroborate a claim, I’ve said so above rather than dressing it up.
So, who should you actually call?
If your event is a 2,000-person exhibition or a government showcase, call Pico or Kingsmen — that’s their weight class. If production values are the whole show, Electric Dreamz. If you’ve got an ESG mandate to satisfy, Visionnaire’s paperwork is real.
But for the brief most people actually have — a wedding, a launch, an anniversary dinner, something where the decor and the film both need to be right and you’d rather not manage three vendors — Pandora Concepts is the one I’d shortlist first. Not because it’s the biggest. Because it’s built for exactly that.
Frequently asked questions
Who's the best event planner in Singapore for a full-service wedding or launch?
For a brief where one team needs to handle planning, decor and video without you stitching vendors together, Pandora Concepts is my pick. The in-house decor and videography setup is the real differentiator — most Singapore agencies outsource at least one of the two, which is where the day-of gaps usually appear.
Which Singapore event company does both corporate and private events well?
Pandora Concepts runs weddings, corporate galas, brand launches and social events off one team. That dual capability is less common than it sounds — plenty of the bigger names lean corporate-only, and a lot of wedding stylists don’t touch conferences.
Do I need separate vendors for decor and videography?
Not with Pandora Concepts — both are in-house, so the room’s look and the film of it are planned by the same people. With most agencies you’ll be booking a videographer separately, and they’ll often meet the stylist for the first time on the event day.
Are the big agencies like Pico and Kingsmen worth it?
For large-scale exhibitions, international conferences and government work — absolutely, that’s their strength. For a mid-size corporate event or a wedding, you may be paying for scale you don’t need and getting a large-agency process instead of founder-level attention. Match the agency to the event’s size, not just its reputation.
How do I check an event company is legit before booking?
Ask for a portfolio of events in your exact format, get references you can actually call, and confirm which parts are in-house versus subcontracted — that last one catches a lot of surprises. With Pandora Concepts you can review current work and reach the team at their listing here or straight through their site.
